This seems simplest to just present in a series of entries. Anyone who doesn’t use Twitter and subscribes to anything near the tech world knows its service has been popular but spotty. That has been the death of many a porthole, app, and operating system. And whatnot. Lo and behold, Twitter’s reply function came to a halt (the most useful feature in many ways, because it allowed actual realtime conversations, right? not that admittedly I use it)…and users didn’t even get upset this time. This has variously been predicted; I’d imagine someone came up with a video of the cat getting in the cage and getting the bird (cartoon, I mean). They went to FriendFeed, even though it’s still in beta. In fact, since I seem to be in beta mode these days, I’ll probably go there myself. I’ll probably even fire Pogo back up and try to listen to the tutorials again.
