Firefox 2 (speaking of browser updates)

If you’re running Firefox 2 (which might be the best idea, what with an unpatched/unrevealed vulnerability–that amazingly enough involves clicking on IM or e-mail links–in Firefox 3) make sure you accept updates. There are a dozen vulnerabilities, at least 5 of them critical, that are fixed.
I am running Firefox 3. I never intentionally click on a link from anyone unknown, and I’m very careful with chain e-mails containing jpg’s. There was a vulnerability discovered long ago where script could be run, and there are always Active X and Java. And. There are always more executable files than published.
