A Beta Download: Sendshield

A beta means software that hasn’t been publicly released because it might have bugs in it; it’s still in its testing phase.  This keeps you from sending Office documents with changes and comments intact (unless, of course, you want to; it notifies you, and allows you to make a decision).

Sendshield looks promising.  However, for the ordinary user I’d suggest that you watch the development for the time being, since this time it does have bugs and there’s a definite danger of data loss.  For someone who’s experienced and energetic, and a bit masochistic, it sounds perfect just as it is.
