Freeware: a “Swiss Tool”: Glarysoft

The Glarysoft link is here. You can do all sorts of things with the free version of this–the link for the paid version is on the same page, although I would, were I you (being me, I already have) do the try on the free, so to speak–temp files, cleaning up shortcuts, cleaning up the registry–defragment the registry [no, that’s not some scammer’s idea, it is something that needs to be done and I’ve never seen a MS tool for it]. Having tried it, and bearing in mind that I have various other tools I use to maintain the computer, I highly recommend it. It was recommended to me by Brother (printers). It’s fast, too–and the download is 5.36 MB; tiny. They have a warning that it won’t self-update, so I once again am going to say, “use Secunia PSI”.
