It’s legit, too. Looked it up. How exciting all the games are is another matter (I don’t know one way or the other yet). I’m not doing well on modern racing sims and suchlike (NFS, Test Drive Unlimited).
WebFerret (get it from http://www.download.com/WebFerret/3000-2379_4-10002998.html or CNET because there are some decidedly dangerous versions out there) is a very good free desktop internet search tool. I still use it. I also keep telling myself I’ll install Copernic again–which I paid for long ago and is a good tool. The Google results, like Wikipedia results, are decidedly skewed because they’re being gamed by experts; that’s one of the reasons only a few people make a lot of money from blogs although there are better writers out there (I’m not including myself in that).
