Drop My Rights

I’ve discussed click-jacking a few times. Drop My Rights is something that’s basically for XP, which doesn’t have perfect separation between admnistrative and restricted modes. Basically, XP lacks a layer of protection that automatically comes with Vista. It’s a pain. It also helps avoid helpful people on the Internet from installing things on your computer without you knowing about it. Oddly enough, generally, when they do, they’re not worried about your gain but theirs.
The source is a former MS software engineer; the link is certified. That’s not 100% but it’s about as close as you can get to…reliable.
