Cookies: Are They Becoming Totally a Threat?

Koobface–a “social-networking site” virus–basically works from cookies. So do many other pieces of badware, at least potentially, even though a cookie may only be a record of places you’ve visited at a particular site. Give consideration to just clearing your cookies out or (in browser options) keeping them for a very limited amount of time, maybe even a “stealth mode” method of deleting them at the end of each browser session. At some point, I think cookies will become totally unusable, and I don’t think that point is far away.
