RE: Tucows, Don’t Go There

I suspect it’s largely as a result of my efforts that Tucows has been black-listed on the Haute Secure tool.  It used to be a good source at least, though mainly for shareware rather than freeware.  I informed WOT (Web of Trust, similar tool) of it too, but never got that far (Haute Secure tends to act earlier–and to be a bit more of a pain, too, since it has its own User Account Control).  There was a piece of software I really wanted to try out, and it was on Tucows.  I guess it will stay there.  Tucows, now outpost of Warez.
